Dermatology

Dermatology is the branch of medicine which deals with skin, hair, and nail disorders and diseases. The skin is the human body’s largest and most prominent functioning organ. It hosts the growth of our hair and nails, protects us from microbes, radiation and other environmental elements, and allows us to experience sensations such as touch, heat, and cold. On average, 20 square feet of skin covers us from head to toe!

The facts we have mentioned above should motivate people of all ages and skin types to care for the skin they’re in, and to give their skin the special attention it deserves. At First Coast Mohs, the same facts are also contributing factors behind our friendly drive, and passion to help, which you’ll experience while interacting with our staff members during a visit to any one of our convenient office locations.
